I decided to go to Can is Cool because Teke, a 2 month old Spanish Galgo arrived in our lives and I didn\u2019t want to mess it up\u2026 I wanted to do it well. I had 3 greyhounds before and even though they were relatively well behaved they were never the prime example of obedient dogs. In addition I had doubts concerning many things, like correct nutrition, behaviour etc – so I decided that it was a good idea to have a professional guiding us through the process of animal behaviour.
\nI think the most valuable thing Can is Cool taught me was to understand the global vision of the situation: what role the dog has in your life and what role do you have in their life. What psychological maneuvers are being played in the relationship.
\nThey also give you the necessary tools to build a strong relationship with your dog and help you to get rid of many doubts regarding daily activities: hygiene at home, socialisation, walking the dog, etc.
\nFurthermore you feel that you have found an ally in Zofia, someone you can trust when the initial doubts about living with the dog arise.

\n– How do you feel that the work we have done has influenced your relationship with Teke?
\nEThe work we did in Can is Cool has absolutely enriched our relationship with Teke. I have been given the tools and knowledge how to practise a good owner-dog relationship, in a satisfying and enjoyable way – without any unpleasant surprises… They also give you the tools to feel sure of yourself that you are not making a mistake in the various situations.
\nI recommend that every dog owner goes through the program so that they understand the needs of the animal, the responsibilities and rights of the dog and the owner and the positive limits of both parties – for a pleasant coexistence.

When I was pregnant we found an abandoned puppy. It was love at first sight, but I knew that we had to educate the dog fast in order to make sure that there would not be any problems with the Baby. Levi was born when Suki had 7 months. We also learnt to understand our dog. And to correct behaviour that was not right, so that the puppy would grow into a properly educated dog. One day we heard about Can is Cool and seeing the good reviews and recommendations we decided to try a class. We liked it so much that we signed up for the puppy program when Goku had just turned 3 months, and we also decided to continue after with the advanced training.<\/p>\n
\nThanks to Can is Cool our relationship could not be better. We have learnt to understand each other even though we don\u2019t speak the same language and to enjoy life together a lot more.<\/p>\n
We were very satisfied with everything the three of us were learning, so we continued to attend courses. We attended the basic obedience course that helped us a lot in solidifying and internalising all learnings. Lastly, we signed up for the advanced course. \nMy experience with dogs was very small; my pup Blue is a hunting dog and she\u2019s very active. Therefore, it was important for me to learn some things for Blue to be a happy puppy. Amongst the things we\u2019ve learned is for her to sit and stay and have some self-control. Also, we\u2019ve learned for her to focus on me on our walks, so she is not all over the place. For myself I have learned that it\u2019s important to participate actively in our communication; Blue is a happy pup that wants to please her owner.<\/p>\n
When we started the puppy program Lau was between 3 and 4 months old and we had taught him practically nothing. So we were very excited to go to the course, above all, to learn ourselves.
We have learnt many things that really make our lives easier, like to sit, to lie down, to walk in a loose heel with us, toilet training, be calm at home, etc. But what we value the most is the bond that we have created with Lau, thanks to understanding his needs and how Lau communicates them. We have also learnt how to turn feared and intense moments that we wanted to avoid into moments of enjoyment.
Thanks to all this we have seen how both we and Lau have made a lot of progress. Many times it\u2019s a very subtle shift in focus that makes the difference, but you need somebody to tell you. They are great professionals and their method and way of working really make everything very easy and very enjoyable.<\/p>\n
Already after a few classes – where we trained Heidi & Dali also separately –\u00a0 they were much better and very curious\u00a0about others.
Not only that they made great progress socializing, we also showed them great tricks to keep them busy. But most\u00a0importantly we understood much better the needs and behaviour of our new family members and how two raise two puppies at the same time. Can is Cool gave us great support facing this challenge.
We also joined a course after the\u00a0puppy training to teach them working with their nose. We all really enjoyed it!

I think the most valuable thing Can is Cool taught me was to understand the global vision of the situation: what role the dog has in your life and what role do you have in their life. What psychological maneuvers are being played in the relationship.
\nThey also give you the necessary tools to build a strong relationship with your dog and help you to get rid of many doubts regarding daily activities: hygiene at home, socialisation, walking the dog, etc.
\nFurthermore you feel that you have found an ally in Zofia, someone you can trust when the initial doubts about living with the dog arise.
\nYou want a perfect relationship for both sides. Zofi has been a confident teacher.

– How do you feel that the work we have done has influenced your relationship with Teke?
The work we did in Can is Cool has absolutely enriched our relationship with Teke. I have been given the tools and knowledge how to practise a good owner-dog relationship, in a satisfying and enjoyable way – without any unpleasant surprises.
\nThey also give you the tools to feel sure of yourself that you are not making a mistake in the various situations.

I recommend that every dog owner goes through the program so that they understand the needs of the animal, the responsibilities and rights of the dog and the owner and the positive limits of both parties – for a pleasant coexistence.

One day we heard about Can is Cool and seeing the good reviews and recommendations we decided to try a class.
Thanks to Can is Cool our relationship could not be better. We have learnt to understand each other even though we don\u2019t speak the same language and to enjoy life together a lot more.<\/p>\n
A wolf who overcame her fears<\/p>\n
We started with the puppy program in Canis Cool. What an experience! It was the first time that Neula had seen other dogs and she was very scared. Little by little, session by session she started losing her fear and the stress of the first days and she started to gain confidence in herself, and at the same in us as her guides.
We were very satisfied with everything the three of us were learning, so we continued to attend courses. We attended the basic obedience course that helped us a lot in solidifying and internalising all learnings. Lastly, we signed up for the advanced course. We discovered a lot of exercises and games, and strengthened our bond with Neula.

When we compare Neula from the first day of Puppy School to Neula from today, we see two entirely different dogs: The first one was fearful, reactive, insecure; the second one is calm, curious, daring, with a lot more social skills.
